An unexpectedly hard shot by Aimar Mandojana in the 4th minute of play forced Santa Fe's goalkeeper Gelacio Sedillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bitxintxo Munguira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Aimar Mandojana came free, but Gelacio Sedillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Santa Fe getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Cordareo Eraso hit a great ball. Mateo Copeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fortunato Berdugo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Fertus Jaraba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Fortunato Berdugo made a huge save. Fertus Jaraba took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fortunato Berdugo. Fortunato Berdugo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Fertus Jaraba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Fortunato Berdugo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Copeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateo Copeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donatello Arzola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Leonel Sandin fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santa Fe's protests and gave Leonel Sandin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Leonel Sandin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Donatello Arzola came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Pimentel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donatello Arzola couldn't finish the play. Maximo Reoyo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Santa Fe booed when Pimentel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donatello Arzola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mateo Copeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Berdugo having to interfere. If Bitxintxo Munguira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Hermengildo Aguiriano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Copeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But to his dismay, Mateo Copeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. A collision led to Pimentel FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Maximo Reoyo hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, Marcelo Vaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bitxintxo Munguira kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Hermengildo Aguiriano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gelacio Sedillo. Santa Fe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bitxintxo Munguira hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
