After a rather tough play, LA METRO's Fidencio Rosete got a free kick in the 7th minute. After some careless play in the LA METRO defense, Tadeo Jokin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Diaz. The LA METRO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Diaz should have stopped the shot. Goiz Berdu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Sugamuxi were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after LA METRO's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teofilo Coleira took the corner. The corner led to Sugamuxi's Reuben Billington getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Sugamuxi booed when LA METRO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidencio Rosete didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Teofilo Coleira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Coleira in the 20th minute of play forced LA METRO's goalkeeper Luis Diaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fidencio Rosete fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LA METRO's protests and gave Fidencio Rosete a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Paulo Castellon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA METRO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Castellon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to LA METRO getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Leonardo Cantu hit a great ball. Goyo Salais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reuben Billington's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luis Diaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The corner ended in Teofilo Coleira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LA METRO's Luis Diaz did a great save. 34 minutes into the match, LA METRO's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Jokin came free, but Luis Diaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Goiz Berdu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Sugamuxi's Teofilo Coleira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Luis Diaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Coleira in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teofilo Coleira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Sugamuxi got a corner. LA METRO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teofilo Coleira ran over to the corner to take the kick. 54 minutes into the game, Sugamuxi's Goyo Salais nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Diaz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Teofilo Coleira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luis Diaz came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Sugamuxi's Tadeo Jokin. But to his dismay, Tadeo Jokin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 60 minutes, Teofilo Coleira made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. LA METRO's Luis Diaz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 62 minutes into the game, Leonardo Cantu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA METRO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sugamuxi the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of LA METRO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sugamuxi:s goal. The referee gave Sugamuxi a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Teofilo Coleira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of LA METRO's Luis Diaz. 8-0. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Teofilo Coleira put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luis Diaz. A collision led to LA METRO getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Fidencio Rosete hit a great ball. Reuben Billington blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luis Diaz having to make a save. Sugamuxi made a substitution. Nerio Doro replaced Tadeo Jokin. In the 79th minute, Teofilo Coleira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sugamuxi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Coleira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Diaz was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Reuben Billington might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luis Diaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reuben Billington ran back to his position shaking his head. When Teofilo Coleira came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Sugamuxi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Coleira couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Goiz Berdu made a precise shot to the right of Luis Diaz. LA METRO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. Sugamuxi walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
