The Camilo Cienfuegos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavin Baxter should have stopped the shot. In the 15thth minute of the game Yaman Akar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Camilo Cienfuegos FC's Gavin Baxter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 17 minutes of play, GreenUnited's Yaman Akar made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavin Baxter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gavin Baxter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Dănilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Gavin Baxter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Max Farr went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 26thth minute of the game Yaman Akar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Camilo Cienfuegos FC's Gavin Baxter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fertus Rigues got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Max Farr. Gavin Baxter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Max Farr went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. In the 32nd minute, Romeu Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Yaman Akar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavin Baxter was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

GreenUnited made a substitution. Max Stevens replaced Yaman Akar. 53 minutes into the match, Camilo Cienfuegos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Max Stevens came free, but Gavin Baxter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Ion Gheție hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Dănilă in the 56th minute of play forced Camilo Cienfuegos FC's goalkeeper Gavin Baxter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Camilo Cienfuegos FC's Gavin Baxter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Camilo Cienfuegos FC from getting a goal against them. Sebastián Torrico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larra Vuelta in the 74th minute of the match. Camilo Cienfuegos FC's Dani Nevares was substituted for Josue Peña. After 80 minutes Camilo Cienfuegos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Max Stevens got free with Gavin Baxter in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frans Laine made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Daniel Dănilă however managed to control. Gavin Baxter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joao Zuazo in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Stevens in the 92nd minute of play forced Camilo Cienfuegos FC's goalkeeper Gavin Baxter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GreenUnited's Sebastián Torrico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauren Izaguirre in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over GreenUnited could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Camilo Cienfuegos FC throughout the match.
