Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Momoy FC's Gabriel Angosto in the 48th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Salomone Vega was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Vacoa through an amazing save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Salomone Vega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ildefonso Caborredondo in the 59th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes, Momoy FC's Inacio Traus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Salomone Vega came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Momoy FC reached it. Salomone Vega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Caborredondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Salomone Vega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ildefonso Caborredondo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Angosto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salomone Vega was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Gabriel Angosto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salomone Vega having to interfere. After 85 minutes of play, Momoy FC's Ildefonso Caborredondo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Salomone Vega was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gabriel Angosto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
