In the 10th match minute, Racing Venezuela XO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Puncet to maneuver through the defense. Gauargi Buruaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cambranes Veraza in the 12th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Bero Guiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gauargi Buruaga came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Zulia Caracas F.C.'s Cambranes Veraza. But to his dismay, Cambranes Veraza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gauargi Buruaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porfiro Idiaquez in the 21st minute of play. When Anacleto Puncet fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Venezuela XO's protests and gave Anacleto Puncet a yellow card for diving instead. Anacleto Puncet hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Porfiro Idiaquez shot a long shot in the 25th minute and a light blocked Gauargi Buruaga hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-2. Galo Caroll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauldi Cortina in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Zulia Caracas F.C.'s Cambranes Veraza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gauargi Buruaga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gauargi Buruaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cambranes Veraza, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Gauargi Buruaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porfiro Idiaquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cambranes Veraza in the 40th minute of play forced Racing Venezuela XO's goalkeeper Gauargi Buruaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Kauldi Cortina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Galo Caroll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernat Lomelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Zulia Caracas F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Porfiro Idiaquez was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match, Cambranes Veraza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gauargi Buruaga was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Porfiro Idiaquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernat Lomelin in the 67th minute of play forced Zulia Caracas F.C.'s goalkeeper Galo Caroll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Bastiaro Gainza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Porfiro Idiaquez sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Gauargi Buruaga threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Porfiro Idiaquez this time. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cambranes Veraza got free with Gauargi Buruaga in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Galo Caroll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauldi Cortina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galo Caroll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauldi Cortina, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Zulia Caracas F.C.'s Galo Caroll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauldi Cortina in the 76th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Zulia Caracas F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordero Placencia to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute of the match Kauldi Cortina shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Galo Caroll showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Galo Caroll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernat Lomelin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zulia Caracas F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
