After having played for 8 minutes, Naike Bradi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mahomito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naike Bradi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in CA Guarenas's zone, Bras Pico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandez Lascano came out of the goal and Bras Pico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Naike Bradi came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fernandez Lascano could save by the left post. Ambrosio Murillas got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Omar Arango. 23 minutes into the game, Omar Arango threw the ball into play from the sideline. CA Guarenas's Reynaldo Piega quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Bras Pico hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in CA Guarenas's zone, Bras Pico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandez Lascano came out of the goal and Bras Pico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Bras Pico took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fernandez Lascano to make any attempt to save it. In the 40th minute, Naike Bradi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joaquin Gallinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandez Lascano having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Baldomiro Arrizabalaga made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Mahomito's Bras Pico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernandez Lascano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Naike Bradi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mahomito fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 61 minutes into the match, CA Guarenas's goal looked a bit too open when Bras Pico came free, but Fernandez Lascano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernandez Lascano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mahomito. The supporters of Mahomito booed when CA Guarenas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selmo Campelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mahomito's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
