Spectators: 8469 (Terracing: 6358, Seating: 1949, VIP seats: 162) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lluciano Heraso took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lluciano Heraso got free with Silbestre Repiso in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 7th match minute, Taguaiguai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Txindoki Maza to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Pau Gijon in the 9th minute really tested Silbestre Repiso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 10thth minute of the game Lluciano Heraso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taguaiguai's Silbestre Repiso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When RedBull Maracaibo's Lluciano Heraso in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taguaiguai's goalie prevented a goal. After 13 played minutes Taguaiguai got a freekick which was hit by Totakoxe Esterina. After 16 minutes, Lluciano Heraso made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Taguaiguai's Silbestre Repiso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Taguaiguai's Silbestre Repiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xarles Benegas in the 22nd minute of play. If Ascencio Rolan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of RedBull Maracaibo booed when Taguaiguai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txindoki Maza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lluciano Heraso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lluciano Heraso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Silbestre Repiso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Txindoki Maza to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jorge Solana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th match minute, RedBull Maracaibo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lluciano Heraso to maneuver through the defense. Taguaiguai's Silbestre Repiso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lluciano Heraso in the 61st minute of play. RedBull Maracaibo's Xarles Benegas got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Fero Sara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Solana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anastasio Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Txindoki Maza's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Silbestre Repiso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lluciano Heraso's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 91st minute Lluciano Heraso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silbestre Repiso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Veronica Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isadoro Cantos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that RedBull Maracaibo were the better team. RedBull Maracaibo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
