In the 36th minute Tartalo Albar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virila Lambaria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Bernebe Barrientos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adios Managerzone's Manuelo Chirghentino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils-Åke Fors was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inacio Marban in the 58th minute of play forced Sultans Of Swing's goalkeeper Virila Lambaria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sultans Of Swing's Palos Cascajares got a free kick in the 60th minute. With a little luck, Adios Managerzone's Manuelo Chirghentino got control of the ball when Bernebe Barrientos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adios Managerzone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Åke Fors was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Adios Managerzone fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sultans Of Swing had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
