Valencianos's Modestio Bonjoch quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Valencianos's Peruxu Queiruga got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batista Mera in the 24th minute of play forced Valencianos's goalkeeper Vitor Abuleta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Rik Bonachea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Batista Mera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitor Abuleta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes, Rik Bonachea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valencianos and the Club Mercedes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Valencianos's Klaus Augenthaler got a free kick in the 29th minute. Batista Mera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitor Abuleta having to interfere. Valencianos's Vitor Abuleta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birila Lumeras in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Club Mercedes booed when Valencianos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rik Bonachea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vitor Abuleta made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Birila Lumeras sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st match minute, Valencianos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peruxu Queiruga to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Valencianos's Vitor Abuleta got control of the ball when Dalmu Depino tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Club Mercedes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Valencianos were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Batista Mera made a kick off. Dalmu Depino scored 2-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitor Abuleta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 55th minute Dalmu Depino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitor Abuleta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Valencianos's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmu Depino came free, but Vitor Abuleta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Mercedes's goalkeeper Peyo Bustos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peyo Bustos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobiasz Skirzynski's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Emanuel Delgadillo kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, Club Mercedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lastur Feliu to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Peruxu Queiruga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Peyo Bustos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Club Mercedes getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Santos Dorado hit a great ball. Vitor Abuleta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batista Mera, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Peyo Bustos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Skirzynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 84 in the game by Tobiasz Skirzynski from a close distance when the talented Peyo Bustos managed to make a qualified save. Club Mercedes's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Valencianos's Tobiasz Skirzynski got a free kick in the 88th minute. The supporters of Club Mercedes booed when Valencianos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rik Bonachea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
