The Tarica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 5 minutes into the game, Tarica's Alonzo Gonsalvo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Balcells made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a little luck, Unión de Palavecino's Manuel Balcells got control of the ball when Ugutz Villafañe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Indar Guerrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Loriga in the 13th minute of the match. Indar Guerrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sasan Sharifinasab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Frasquito Mirantes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tarica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Manuel Balcells successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 21st minute, Alvaro Mar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Balcells was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If Gilmar Loriga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Alvaro Mar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Balcells saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Indar Guerrez came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Unión de Palavecino's Sasan Sharifinasab. But to his dismay, Sasan Sharifinasab quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. After having played for 47 minutes, Gilmar Loriga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unión de Palavecino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilmar Loriga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

After 51 minutes, Alonzo Gonsalvo made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Unión de Palavecino's Manuel Balcells tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Unión de Palavecino booed when Tarica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ugutz Villafañe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Balcells didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ugutz Villafañe went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Manuel Balcells showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frasquito Mirantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Manuel Balcells showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ugutz Villafañe in the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Alonzo Gonsalvo made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Balcells. Unión de Palavecino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. Unión de Palavecino's Manuel Balcells played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Sarratea in the 76th minute of play. Alessandro Sarratea scored 8-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Balcells, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Unión de Palavecino defense, Garaona Berroa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Balcells. The Unión de Palavecino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Balcells should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tarica had played much better football throughout.
