Tarica were furious when Txatxu Carrozal was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Paul Bogrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frasquito Mirantes in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tarica's Ugutz Villafañe got a free kick in the 26th minute. Bucare EFD's Paul Bogrea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Mar in the 27th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Mar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Bogrea was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordaro Miro in the 29th minute of play forced Tarica's goalkeeper Indar Guerrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonzo Gonsalvo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Erik Carlsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Indar Guerrez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tarica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Erik Carlsson scored to the left of an out of position Indar Guerrez, making the score, 2-0. If Erik Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th match minute, Tarica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Gonsalvo to maneuver through the defense. Eladio Ruidiaz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 49th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Carlsson made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Tarica's zone, Erik Carlsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Indar Guerrez came out of the goal and Erik Carlsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cordaro Miro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Carlsson in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Indar Guerrez saved Tarica from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Tarica's Alessandro Sarratea got a free kick in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Bucare EFD's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Mar came free, but Paul Bogrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erik Carlsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Indar Guerrez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Oskitz Moncada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Bucare EFD's goalkeeper Paul Bogrea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ugutz Villafañe. A collision led to Bucare EFD getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ascencio Bardeci hit a great ball. Paul Bogrea made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Ugutz Villafañe sent off a good shot on target. Indar Guerrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Carlsson in the 76th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Bucare EFD's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Sarratea came free, but Paul Bogrea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jacques Huysmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarica's Iratzeder Melendo was substituted for Alessandro Sarratea. Tarica's Garaona Berroa was substituted for Celso Mergildo. The supporters of Bucare EFD booed when Tarica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garaona Berroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eladio Ruidiaz in the 98th minute of play forced Tarica's goalkeeper Indar Guerrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bucare EFD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tarica had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
