Manducha Fc's Cristóvão Malheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Piquero in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Carlos Codosal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Jolis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siro Jolis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmir Moraes in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Cisneros in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristóvão Malheiro saved Manducha Fc from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walmir Moraes got free with Siro Jolis in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Siro Jolis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Codosal in the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Walmir Moraes rounded Linterna verde's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Siro Jolis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linterna verde's Siro Jolis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Linterna verde from getting a goal against them. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vigil Madera to make the kick off. Siro Jolis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Codosal went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Manducha Fc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
