Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils-Åke Termander to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in ArteGreg FC's zone, Ugutz Villafañe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortun Mauriz came out of the goal and Ugutz Villafañe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Alonzo Gonsalvo sped through ArteGreg FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fortun Mauriz. After a rather tough play, Tarica's Cordero Cortazar got a free kick in the 61st minute. 66 minutes into the game, Tarica's Alonzo Gonsalvo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fortun Mauriz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 74th minute, Alonzo Gonsalvo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tarica made a substitution. Pirmin Arcos replaced Celso Mergildo. If Ugutz Villafañe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
