With a couple of smart ball manuevers Castel Areces in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilio Pizziolo saved Canteranos Fc from getting behind. With a little luck, Xspark Academy's Emmanuel Bardel got control of the ball when Cui Jian Guo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emmanuel Bardel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cui Jian Guo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lartaun Carrera in the 55th minute of play forced Xspark Academy's goalkeeper Emmanuel Bardel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
