Janes Gobbelijns had several of the TUCANES FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 84 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aires Laguno in the 86th minute of play forced TUCANES FC's goalkeeper Daniel Cabalar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Cabalar was a little too slow when Rolando Alley got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-13. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dayam Ontova during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to TUCANES FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Dayam Ontova hit a great ball. During the 95th minute of the match Cedro Cerdan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cedro Cerdan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cedro Cerdan kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Atlético de Caracas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
