Bahiano Caballeria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chabier Gonzales, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Ortegano's Leonides Durango threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christian Arandoja, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Koller in the 14th minute of play forced Sefirah Fc's goalkeeper Leonides Durango to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bahiano Caballeria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chabier Gonzales in the 16th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sefirah Fc defense, Jan Koller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonides Durango. The Sefirah Fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonides Durango should have stopped the shot. When Chabier Gonzales came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sefirah Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chabier Gonzales couldn't finish the play. Orland Uceda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Leonides Durango when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sefirah Fc's Leonides Durango proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Sefirah Fc from getting a goal against them. After 33 minutes of play, Sefirah Fc's Roldan Borica made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bahiano Caballeria was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orland Uceda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leonides Durango came out and tried to block the shot, but Orland Uceda slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 39th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Koller in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonides Durango prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chabier Gonzales's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bahiano Caballeria read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Chabier Gonzales might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bahiano Caballeria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chabier Gonzales ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Koller to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Arboleda Galdia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Durango saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Deportivo Ortegano's Jan Koller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonides Durango made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Leonides Durango stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orland Uceda's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Bahiano Caballeria made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Chabier Gonzales sent off a good shot on target. Chabier Gonzales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Bahiano Caballeria made a huge save. The supporters of Sefirah Fc booed when Deportivo Ortegano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlandus Torrascasana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bahiano Caballeria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roldan Borica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Ortegano.
