The referee ignored UD Liga Nacional's protests and gave Josias Acha a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Logan Flores in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xamo Pozo saved UD Liga Nacional from getting behind. Xamo Pozo had great luck who in the 12thth minute grab hold of the ball when Urtsua Presa from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Xamo Pozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Logan Flores in the 14th minute of play. UD Liga Nacional's Xamo Pozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urtsua Presa in the 15th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Traviesos FC's Urtsua Presa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xamo Pozo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Logan Flores could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Xamo Pozo made a huge save. Traviesos FC were furious when Cordarrel Deleyto was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Traviesos FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of UD Liga Nacional:s goal. After 31 played minutes Traviesos FC got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Jordo. UD Liga Nacional's Xamo Pozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Jordo in the 34th minute of play. When Kimetz Padro fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Liga Nacional's protests and gave Kimetz Padro a yellow card for diving instead. Kimetz Padro kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nel Busto in the 36th minute of play forced UD Liga Nacional's goalkeeper Xamo Pozo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the UD Liga Nacional defense, Logan Flores kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xamo Pozo. The UD Liga Nacional fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xamo Pozo should have stopped the shot. Logan Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xamo Pozo having to interfere. Artemio Jordo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xamo Pozo came out and tried to block the shot, but Artemio Jordo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 44th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Americo Burgueño to make the kick off. When Traviesos FC's Logan Flores in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UD Liga Nacional's goalie prevented a goal. Logan Flores fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xamo Pozo having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Logan Flores's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xamo Pozo was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Xamo Pozo came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Traviesos FC's Logan Flores. But to his dismay, Logan Flores quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The Traviesos FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Traviesos FC's Logan Flores looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 64 minutes into the match, Traviesos FC's goalkeeper Emilio Sole had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Americo Burgueño. Artemio Jordo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Xamo Pozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simao Pestaña charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Simao Pestaña the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xamo Pozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Logan Flores in the 76th minute of play. Logan Flores took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xamo Pozo. Xamo Pozo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. After some careless play in the UD Liga Nacional defense, Logan Flores kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xamo Pozo. The UD Liga Nacional fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xamo Pozo should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, UD Liga Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Logan Flores came free, but Xamo Pozo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Logan Flores left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Traviesos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. Logan Flores recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Traviesos FC were the better team. Traviesos FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
