Spectators: 9250 (Terracing: 6939, Seating: 2127, VIP seats: 184) Marin Ciprian made the kick off and thus started the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Marin Ciprian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alianza FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marin Ciprian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xamo Pozo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xamo Pozo came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Alianza FC's Marin Ciprian. But to his dismay, Marin Ciprian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The Alianza FC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Alianza FC's Marin Ciprian looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marin Ciprian received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Xamo Pozo came out and tried to block the shot, but Marin Ciprian slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 14th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Alianza FC's Marin Ciprian slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xamo Pozo. That made the score 5-0 after 21 minutes of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Marin Ciprian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alianza FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marin Ciprian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marin Ciprian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, UD Liga Nacional's Xamo Pozo got control of the ball when Marin Ciprian tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Marin Ciprian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xamo Pozo. Marin Ciprian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 7-0. If Marin Ciprian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the UD Liga Nacional defense, Marin Ciprian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xamo Pozo. The UD Liga Nacional fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xamo Pozo should have stopped the shot. If Marin Ciprian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, UD Liga Nacional's Xamo Pozo got control of the ball when Leopoldo Aimar tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Americo Burgueño to make the kick off. If Marin Ciprian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xamo Pozo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marin Ciprian went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Xamo Pozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Ciprian in the 57th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Marin Ciprian sped through UD Liga Nacional's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xamo Pozo. Leopoldo Aimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xamo Pozo having to interfere. Alianza FC made a substitution. César Domingues replaced Marin Ciprian. After 71 minutes of play, Alianza FC's César Domingues made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xamo Pozo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute, César Domingues left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alianza FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. 81 minutes into the match, Alianza FC's César Domingues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xamo Pozo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, César Domingues made a precise shot to the right of Xamo Pozo. UD Liga Nacional's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 14-0. Xamo Pozo came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Alianza FC's Baran Gayret. But to his dismay, Baran Gayret quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. Leopoldo Aimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xamo Pozo having to interfere. César Domingues took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Xamo Pozo. Xamo Pozo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 16-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Alianza FC had played much better football throughout.
