Classic Strikers XI
Spectators: 5730 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Bowling Green FC's Keith Trotter started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Keith Trotter fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bowling Green FC's protests and gave Keith Trotter a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Bowling Green FC got a freekick which was hit by Keith Trotter. The crowd rose to their feet as Classic Strikers XI's J.C. Morrison slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brady Fountain. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Stephan Sprague kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Classic Strikers XI's Terry Woodruff got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keith Trotter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brady Fountain made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Terry Woodruff sent off a good shot on target. When Classic Strikers XI's J.C. Morrison in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bowling Green FC's goalie prevented a goal. Terry Woodruff who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Brady Fountain when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the last second Brady Fountain throw himself and got hold of the ball when J.C. Morrison in the 30thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Terry Woodruff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Brady Fountain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bowling Green FC's Brady Fountain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.C. Morrison in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Brady Fountain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Terry Woodruff's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Brady Fountain came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Classic Strikers XI's J.C. Morrison. But to his dismay, J.C. Morrison quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. J.C. Morrison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Classic Strikers XI getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Yong Staton hit a great ball. When Classic Strikers XI's Terry Woodruff in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bowling Green FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rd match minute, Bowling Green FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyce Payton to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 73 minutes, Terry Woodruff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Classic Strikers XI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Terry Woodruff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 75th minute of the match Todd Crowder sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brady Fountain skillfully saved the ball. In the 80th minute, J.C. Morrison left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Classic Strikers XI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Terry Woodruff in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brady Fountain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute of the match Todd Crowder shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brady Fountain showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Brady Fountain didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Classic Strikers XI's Terry Woodruff shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Classic Strikers XI had played much better football throughout.
