That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, FC Fords's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Cormier came free, but Cleto Erdiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 魏坚默 struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Bern Howie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Fords. 26 minutes into the match, FC Fords's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Cormier came free, but Cleto Erdiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Luciano Vogel came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the St.Clair FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Vogel couldn't finish the play. FC Fords's Cleto Erdiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Richard in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Fords's Franklin Bright got a free kick in the 46th minute. Alexander Cormier's late challenge caught a FC Fords's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexander Cormier helped the player get up and apologised. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Franklin Bright made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Luciano Vogel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. St.Clair FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luciano Vogel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Luciano Vogel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonso Horner hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute Dan Richard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Erdiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, FC Fords's goalkeeper Cleto Erdiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Vogel. Luciano Vogel scored 1-3 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cleto Erdiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Fords's Alberto Cardozo was substituted for 魏坚默. FC Fords's Sanford Arias was substituted for Alonso Horner. The supporters of FC Fords booed when St.Clair FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Richard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bern Howie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Luciano Vogel might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cleto Erdiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Vogel ran back to his position shaking his head. Cleto Erdiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jude Reed in the 87th minute of the match. Luciano Vogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Alexander Cormier put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Cleto Erdiano. Cleto Erdiano was a little too slow when Dan Richard got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 1-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched St.Clair FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
