The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomás Argoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Quentin Pratt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Dodson hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Quentin Pratt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Argoitz's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Quentin Pratt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Silban in the 7th minute of the match. Almunge IK's Norberto Silban got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Argoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Quentin Pratt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Whitehouse getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ulysses Delaney hit a great ball. Tomás Argoitz struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Quentin Pratt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almunge IK. Quentin Pratt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Silban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Lambert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marty Latham having to interfere. Quentin Pratt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Argoitz in the 28th minute of play. Tomás Argoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quentin Pratt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Argoitz in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quentin Pratt saved Whitehouse from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Tomás Argoitz in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Whitehouse's goalkeeper Quentin Pratt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Almunge IK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Dalton Marcus hit a great ball. Norberto Silban recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norberto Silban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Quentin Pratt made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Tomás Argoitz sent off a good shot on target. Norberto Silban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quentin Pratt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enoch Chamberlain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quentin Pratt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Argoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Whitehouse fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Almunge IK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
