An unexpectedly hard shot by Myles Stuart in the 4th minute of play forced Walton Town AFC's goalkeeper Lincoln Hancock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Vicente Wells got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, D.J. Bates hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute, Shelton Ruiz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Deephaven FC's Sung Irvin didn't even have to move. Lincoln Hancock made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Trey Fay sent off a good shot on target. Myles Stuart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lincoln Hancock having to interfere. Lincoln Hancock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Trey Fay went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 33 minutes in the game, Trey Fay fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lincoln Hancock having to interfere. Alexander Gold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sung Irvin having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Deephaven FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Wells came free, but Sung Irvin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Deephaven FC booed when Walton Town AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shelton Ruiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Gold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lincoln Hancock came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Deephaven FC's Trey Fay. But to his dismay, Trey Fay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Trey Fay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Myles Stuart might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lincoln Hancock. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Myles Stuart ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 71 minutes, Vicente Wells managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Walton Town AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vicente Wells was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Alexander Gold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Deephaven FC booed when Walton Town AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudley Warner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lincoln Hancock didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Myles Stuart went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute, Myles Stuart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lincoln Hancock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trey Fay in the 91st minute of the match. If Vicente Wells had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walton Town AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
