In the 25th minute, Adrian Falck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Von Pruitt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 31 minutes into the match, Rochester's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Falck came free, but Von Pruitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trey Deleon's late challenge caught a Rochester's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trey Deleon helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Dragons United getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Trey Deleon hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anthony Jefferson made a kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Von Pruitt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cyrus Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Von Pruitt made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, Rochester's goalkeeper Von Pruitt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyrus Rios. In the 74th minute, Cyrus Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cyrus Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Cyrus Rios came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Dragons United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cyrus Rios couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyrus Rios got free with Von Pruitt in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd match minute, Dragons United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vern Harman to maneuver through the defense. If Cyrus Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kelly Delgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Von Pruitt made a huge save. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Adrian Falck sped through Rochester's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Von Pruitt.
