Bernie Mansfield started the match with the kick off. Cody Armenta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Wilber Everett made a huge save. Ivan Shannon hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Gerry Woodard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reyes Keane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf McNeil, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Waupaca's Wilber Everett got control of the ball when Cody Armenta tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Waupaca's goal looked a bit too open when Jude Lovett came free, but Wilber Everett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Chris Geiger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reyes Keane was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Jude Lovett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilber Everett having to interfere. Jude Lovett kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Jude Lovett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Wilber Everett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cody Armenta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilber Everett having to interfere. If Bernie Mansfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

51 minutes into the game, Bryce Bryson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Waupaca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boston the free kick. A collision led to Waupaca getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Bryce Bryson hit a great ball. Jude Lovett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilber Everett having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Waupaca's Gerry Woodard ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reyes Keane. Reyes Keane yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Boston's Jude Lovett got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chris Geiger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reyes Keane having to make a save. When Chris Geiger fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Waupaca's protests and gave Chris Geiger a yellow card for diving instead. Chris Geiger kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Waupaca's goalkeeper Wilber Everett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Rudolf McNeil fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Waupaca's protests and gave Rudolf McNeil a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Waupaca got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf McNeil. Wilber Everett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jude Lovett in the 77th minute of play. After having played for 79 minutes, Jude Lovett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boston's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jude Lovett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reyes Keane came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Waupaca's Rudolf McNeil. But to his dismay, Rudolf McNeil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Reyes Keane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Geiger in the 86th minute. Cory Langley kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Cody Armenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reyes Keane was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rudolf McNeil showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 95 minute of play.
