The supporters of Flagstaff booed when Wakeeney FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedict Chacon didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Flagstaff getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jayson Griffith hit a great ball. Jared Calderon struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Dana Duncan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wakeeney FC. If Hayden Steward had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Don Wallace managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flagstaff's supporters rose to their feet, but Don Wallace was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Steward breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Benedict Chacon sped through Flagstaff's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dana Duncan. Hayden Steward sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 34 minutes, Wallace Wooten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flagstaff's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wallace Wooten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Flagstaff's Hayden Steward nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Genaro Steward made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. A collision led to Wakeeney FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Christopher Eason hit a great ball. 40 minutes in the game Benito Bain did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Luciano Finley. If Wallace Wooten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wakeeney FC! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.
After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Wallace Wooten managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flagstaff's supporters rose to their feet, but Wallace Wooten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Steward breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Genaro Steward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayden Steward in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Hayden Steward shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Steward saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genaro Steward made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayden Steward in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Deshawn Bravo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Genaro Steward skillfully saved the ball. Hayden Steward sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wakeeney FC's Genaro Steward played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hayden Steward in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Flagstaff's Lanny Kelly seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Lanny Kelly the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Flagstaff protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Lanny Kelly had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 76th minute, one of Flagstaff:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Flagstaff. Jackson Fuller placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 86th minute Jackson Fuller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dana Duncan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jackson Fuller who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Dana Duncan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jackson Fuller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Dana Duncan made a huge save. In the 96th minute, Hayden Steward hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Benedict Chacon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wakeeney FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedict Chacon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
