The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Winston Wade charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Winston Wade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Winston Wade hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the game, Sol Stover recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alfonzo Nava. Sol Stover showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Tad Westbrook's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonzo Nava was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Larry Benjamin took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Alfonzo Nava to make any attempt to save it. Junior Nieves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Alfonzo Nava made a huge save. With a little luck, Royse City's Alfonzo Nava got control of the ball when Larry Benjamin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfonzo Nava made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tad Westbrook in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, Royse City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon McCain to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Tad Westbrook managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valdosta FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tad Westbrook was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonzo Nava breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonzo Nava made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sol Stover in the 24th minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match, Tad Westbrook tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfonzo Nava saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 35th minute, Valdosta FC's Sol Stover dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. With a little luck, Royse City's Alfonzo Nava got control of the ball when Sol Stover tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfonzo Nava didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 40th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Alfonzo Nava didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Alfonzo Nava took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tad Westbrook, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfonzo Nava made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Nieves in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the Royse City defense, Tad Westbrook kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonzo Nava. The Royse City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonzo Nava should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute of the match Johnson Pitts sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfonzo Nava skillfully saved the ball. Alfonzo Nava didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sol Stover went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Alfonzo Nava came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Valdosta FC's Sol Stover. But to his dismay, Sol Stover quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 70 minutes into the match, Royse City's goal looked a bit too open when Sol Stover came free, but Alfonzo Nava reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonzo Nava showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Junior Nieves, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Alfonzo Nava took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larry Benjamin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Junior Nieves made a precise shot to the right of Alfonzo Nava. Royse City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. 79 minutes into the match, Royse City's goal looked a bit too open when Sol Stover came free, but Alfonzo Nava reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonzo Nava showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Nieves in the 87th minute of the match. Tad Westbrook struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Alfonzo Nava didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valdosta FC. Winston Wade was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 89th minute, Winston Wade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonzo Nava showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Nieves in the 94th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Royse City defense, Junior Nieves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonzo Nava. The Royse City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonzo Nava should have stopped the shot.
