To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the match, Rosamond FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Cornelius came free, but Riley Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Madrid's zone, Randell Sandoval stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Russ Penn came out of the goal and Randell Sandoval tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Atletico Madrid defense, Jeremiah Butler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Russ Penn. The Atletico Madrid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Russ Penn should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Atletico Madrid's Russ Penn got control of the ball when Jeremiah Butler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Russ Penn made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Randell Sandoval sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 79 minutes into the game, when Travis Clemons put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rosamond FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty!
