Denis Bolden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Titus Lawrence having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Knights SC's zone, DeMarcus Culver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul McPherson came out of the goal and DeMarcus Culver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Knights SC's Raul McPherson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jackson Sorenson in the 11th minute of play. Raul McPherson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jackson Sorenson, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the last second Titus Lawrence throw himself and got hold of the ball when Alexis Brock in the 16thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 20th minute, Alexis Brock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 played minutes Alexis Brock rounded Almont AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Denis Bolden let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 25th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. In the 33rd minute, Denis Bolden got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Almont AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Brock came free, but Titus Lawrence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raul McPherson didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Almont AFC's Jackson Sorenson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Titus Lawrence showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexis Brock, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Knights SC's Denis Bolden got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Almont AFC's Titus Lawrence proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save Almont AFC from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexis Brock to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Bolden in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Titus Lawrence prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Denis Bolden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Titus Lawrence was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Woodall during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Knights SC booed when Almont AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Woodall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexis Brock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Clifton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Titus Lawrence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Bolden in the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Jackson Sorenson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almont AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jackson Sorenson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Casey Glass fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knights SC's protests and gave Casey Glass a yellow card for diving instead. 81 minutes into the game, Alexis Brock cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Titus Lawrence was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Denis Bolden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Bolden's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Titus Lawrence read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Duke Howell struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Raul McPherson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almont AFC. Knights SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
