Graig Singleton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wally Hollandsworth, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Allen Chin fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored St Lukes Pioneers's protests and gave Allen Chin a yellow card for diving instead. Flint McMillian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Titus Lawrence having to interfere. Graig Singleton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jackson Sorenson in the 45th minute of play. Graig Singleton was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wally Hollandsworth showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 46 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Flint McMillian made a kick off. Graig Singleton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duke Howell in the 53rd minute of play. Flint McMillian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Titus Lawrence read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Flint McMillian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. St Lukes Pioneers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flint McMillian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
