The audience was convinced that Boyce Franco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rhett Egan was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. When Paul Delgado fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flandreau AFC's protests and gave Paul Delgado a yellow card for diving instead. Paul Delgado hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A collision led to Wolf Trap getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Harvey Monroe hit a great ball. Harvey Monroe's late challenge caught a Flandreau AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harvey Monroe helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Wolf Trap getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Harvey Monroe hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Flandreau AFC's Eddie Major broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rhett Egan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nick Clinton in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Nick Clinton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Benjamin Costello managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Flandreau AFC's Nathanial Teague fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Benjamin Costello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nathanial Teague in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Harvey Monroe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddie Major, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 35th minute, Lorenzo Mueller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boyce Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Flandreau AFC's zone, Boyce Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rhett Egan came out of the goal and Boyce Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eddie Major kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Boyce Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolf Trap's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boyce Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Coleman to make the kick off. Boyce Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nick Clinton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Rhett Egan made a huge save. Rhett Egan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boyce Franco in the 65th minute of the match. Lorenzo Mueller's late challenge caught a Wolf Trap's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Mueller helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 played minutes Flandreau AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Mueller. Boyce Franco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flandreau AFC's Lorenzo Mueller got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Lorenzo Mueller off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Flandreau AFC's zone, Boyce Franco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rhett Egan came out of the goal and Boyce Franco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brendan Barney kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Boyce Franco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Wolf Trap booed when Flandreau AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Bates didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nick Clinton came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Wolf Trap fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nick Clinton couldn't finish the play. Harvey Monroe hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Flandreau AFC's Nathanial Teague got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boyce Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nathanial Teague fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Costello having to interfere. Brendan Barney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
