Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ezra Gustafson made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 5 minutes, Carlos Branch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pine Grove FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Branch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leland Tabor during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lake Wylie AFC's Leland Tabor got a free kick in the 7th minute. A collision led to Pine Grove FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Titus Rice hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Lake Wylie AFC's Lonnie Marshall tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucien Jeffries in the 15th minute of play forced Pine Grove FC's goalkeeper Jackson Isaac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Pierce during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonardo Pierce kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Leonardo Pierce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 28th minute, Carlos Branch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-1 became the score in the 31st minute when Orlando Goldsmith elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lucien Jeffries took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jackson Isaac. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Goldsmith stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Lake Wylie AFC's Theo Mendoza got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Titus Rice took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Salvador Redding. Lake Wylie AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ezra Gustafson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kenny Groves's late challenge caught a Pine Grove FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenny Groves helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Lake Wylie AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pine Grove FC:s goal. In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Pine Grove FC. Titus Rice stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Salvador Redding. 1-2. Ezra Gustafson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Salvador Redding tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Goldsmith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jackson Isaac having to interfere. Lucien Jeffries sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ezra Gustafson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Ezra Gustafson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pine Grove FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
