After having played for 16 minutes, Rusty Muniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rusty Muniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Heriberto Ragland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rusty Muniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rusty Muniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rusty Muniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rory Newsome in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shelby Bruce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Shelby Bruce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rory Newsome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexis Hadley kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 28 minutes, Rory Newsome managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thanh Holliday lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 34 minutes into the game, one of Huron:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Alexis Hadley kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Miamisburg's Ted Koenig got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gerald Bowers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rory Newsome was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Huron's goalkeeper Shelby Bruce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ted Koenig. Ted Koenig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Shelby Bruce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Shelby Bruce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rory Newsome, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Rory Newsome sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerald Bowers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Heriberto Ragland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerald Bowers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ted Koenig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 minutes of play Miamisburg's Jermaine Varner was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gerald Bowers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Heriberto Ragland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huron's Shelby Bruce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Huron from getting a goal against them.
