Spectators: 7415 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Sal West started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice moves Vincenzo Muniz could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Mohammed Busch however easily saved by the left post. When West Linn AFC's Darell Parker in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Susanville's goalie prevented a goal. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Susanville's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Boyd Avalos was slow to take the kick. During this time West Linn AFC's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Quentin Golden managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Darell Parker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Ware having to interfere. With a little luck, West Linn AFC's Mohammed Busch got control of the ball when Sal West tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sal West's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Mohammed Busch skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, West Linn AFC's Quentin Golden got a free kick in the 21st minute. Rufus Ware made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darell Parker in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of West Linn AFC booed when Susanville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Hoyt didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Darell Parker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Moses Goodman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rufus Ware saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rufus Ware made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moses Goodman in the 33rd minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Sal West managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Susanville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sal West was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Susanville's Emanuel Hoyt got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mohammed Busch made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Vincenzo Muniz sent off a good shot on target. Sal West received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mohammed Busch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, West Linn AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stacey Whitt to maneuver through the defense. Terry Dias's late challenge caught a Susanville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Terry Dias helped the player get up and apologised. Susanville's attack was well implemented in the 46th minute, but when Sal West was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darell Parker was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Moses Goodman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Susanville's Rufus Ware played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darell Parker in the 53rd minute of play. Moses Goodman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rufus Ware read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Susanville's Christopher Hendricks got a free kick in the 65th minute. Rufus Ware took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darell Parker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Moses Goodman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mohammed Busch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Samuels, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Mohammed Busch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Samuels in the 76th minute of play. Rufus Ware made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darell Parker in the 78th minute of play. Shawn Sorenson hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Otis Doran shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mohammed Busch showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
