The supporters of Miamisburg booed when University Place FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tod Sapp didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind University Place FC's goalkeeper Jim Lassiter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Freddie Brewster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rdth minute of the game Freddie Brewster who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miamisburg's Heriberto Ragland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. University Place FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
