Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Darell Parker made the kick off which started today's match. Mohammed Busch came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by University Place FC's Winford Patrick. But to his dismay, Winford Patrick quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Freddie Brewster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the match, Darell Parker dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jim Lassiter, 1-1. After 13 minutes of play, University Place FC's Winford Patrick made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mohammed Busch was left in no man's land by his defense there! West Linn AFC were furious when Shawn Sorenson was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Moses Goodman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Terry Cotton hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Jim Lassiter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moses Goodman in the 32nd minute. Winford Patrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed Busch having to interfere. Winford Patrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th match minute, University Place FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Warren Love to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddie Brewster was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Damien Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 played minutes Freddie Brewster rounded West Linn AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in West Linn AFC's zone, Winford Patrick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohammed Busch came out of the goal and Winford Patrick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 62 minutes into the game, West Linn AFC's Moses Goodman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jim Lassiter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Terry Cotton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mohammed Busch having to make a save. In the 65th minute, Stacey Whitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Winford Patrick's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mohammed Busch firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Winford Patrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. University Place FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Winford Patrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mohammed Busch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 played minutes West Linn AFC got a freekick which was hit by Wally Kennedy. Freddie Brewster fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed Busch having to interfere. University Place FC's Jim Lassiter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moses Goodman in the 76th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Stacey Whitt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Freddie Brewster might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mohammed Busch. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddie Brewster ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the match, University Place FC's Freddie Brewster sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mohammed Busch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mohammed Busch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tod Sapp in the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, West Linn AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Freddie Brewster came free, but Mohammed Busch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Moses Goodman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
