Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Westchester's Sammy Beck started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 8 played minutes Westchester got a freekick which was hit by Darryl Reeves. In the 9th minute of the match Zane Currie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Josiah Covington showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 19 played minutes Westchester got a freekick which was hit by Wally Stinson. 25 minutes into the game, Wally Stinson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Westchester's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kaunakakai FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Westchester fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dana McHugh in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josiah Covington saved Westchester from getting behind. Westchester's Josiah Covington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dana McHugh in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Westchester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kris Tompkins to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 34 minutes, Kristopher Huffman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaunakakai FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristopher Huffman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaunakakai FC's Bill Abrams proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Kaunakakai FC from getting a goal against them. Dana McHugh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dana McHugh was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Kaunakakai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dustin Suggs to maneuver through the defense. In the 51st minute, Sammy Beck made a precise shot to the right of Bill Abrams. Kaunakakai FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Dana McHugh took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Josiah Covington to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 68 minutes, Guillermo Darling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westchester's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Darling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Josiah Covington managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Kaunakakai FC's Kristopher Huffman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Sammy Beck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Kristopher Huffman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kaunakakai FC's zone, Guillermo Darling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bill Abrams came out of the goal and Guillermo Darling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stacy Bouchard hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Sammy Beck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bill Abrams was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Sammy Beck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Westchester's Santiago Cummings got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
