In the 9th minute Jarrod Whitt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rico Nava saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Amsterdam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drew Morrison to maneuver through the defense. Flash's Jarrod Whitt got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Amsterdam got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Lacey. If Curt Campbell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Flash getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Dexter Rodgers hit a great ball. In the 20th minute of the match Vance Kirkpatrick sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stephan Caudill skillfully saved the ball. Luis Velez hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the match Jasper Tanner sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stephan Caudill skillfully saved the ball. Willie Hale's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Rico Nava skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 32 played minutes Jarrod Whitt rounded Amsterdam's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Curt Campbell put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Stephan Caudill. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jarrod Whitt to make the kick off. After 56 minutes of play, Flash's Jarrod Whitt made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rico Nava was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Amsterdam's zone, Willie Hale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rico Nava came out of the goal and Willie Hale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Amsterdam! Junior Stern shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Leo Hester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Stephan Caudill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willie Hale struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Rico Nava didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flash. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Zackary Nieves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flash's supporters rose to their feet, but Zackary Nieves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rico Nava breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leo Hester succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 80th playminute. 83 minutes into the game, Fernando Lacey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amsterdam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flash the free kick. Fernando Lacey hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 87 minutes of play Amsterdam's Fernando Lacey was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Amsterdam getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Fernando Lacey hit a great ball. Willie Hale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rico Nava tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Jarrod Whitt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rico Nava. Amsterdam's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarrod Whitt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Rico Nava showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willie Hale in the 98th minute of the match.
