After 27 minutes, Kurtis Snow mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pitcairn AFC and the Flash players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Kurtis Snow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarrod Whitt took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genaro Huggins. Genaro Huggins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 48 minutes Pitcairn AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Junior Stern who took care of the corner kick. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
