The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Lazaro Braun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jim Ortega, 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Crossville FC's Harvey Womack broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Jim Ortega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazaro Braun in the 15th minute of the match. Lazaro Braun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jim Ortega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Millville's Quentin Winter seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Quentin Winter the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Millville protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Quentin Winter had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Millville:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Crossville FC:s goal. In the 21st minute there was a penalty for Crossville FC. Harvey Womack stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jim Ortega. 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Millville's goalkeeper Jim Ortega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Myles Atwood. After a rather tough play, Millville's Gustavo Gaston got a free kick in the 27th minute. Lazaro Braun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Myles Atwood charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Myles Atwood the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Crossville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Myles Atwood to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match, Wilfredo Kenny got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jim Ortega was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 36th minute, Jimmy McLaughlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Millville's Jim Ortega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lazaro Braun in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Millville's Jamal Miranda got a free kick in the 40th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Millville's zone, Lazaro Braun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jim Ortega came out of the goal and Lazaro Braun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Kenny got free with Jim Ortega in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilfredo Kenny struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Jim Ortega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crossville FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Wilfredo Kenny scored 3-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jim Ortega, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the game, Terrence Gardner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Millville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crossville FC the free kick. The supporters of Crossville FC booed when Millville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Terrence Gardner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jim Ortega didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lazaro Braun went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Wiley Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reed Deleon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Ortega having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Lazaro Braun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crossville FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lazaro Braun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim Ortega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Crossville FC's Wilfredo Kenny in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jim Ortega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lazaro Braun in the 93rd minute of the match. If Wilfredo Kenny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Crossville FC had won after a very even match.
