When Willard Hart came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Westminster East fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willard Hart couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Westminster East's zone, Emanuel Conn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Bergman came out of the goal and Emanuel Conn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Emanuel Conn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westminster East's Lucas Bergman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfonso Ackerman's late challenge caught a Sumotori Dreams's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Ackerman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Alfonso Ackerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Diaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Westminster East eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
