Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) Randall Gates started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Randall Gates managed to get in a good position for a shot. Southaven AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Randall Gates was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglass Meyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 6 minutes into the game, Freddy Coppack cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Douglass Meyer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 10 minutes, Freddy Coppack managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southaven AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Coppack was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Randall Gates got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Freddy Coppack came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Southaven AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddy Coppack couldn't finish the play. Randall Gates received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Douglass Meyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, one of Ossian AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ossian AFC. Louis Young stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darin Mims's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darin Mims was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Randall Gates in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglass Meyer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 0-3 became the score in the 53rd minute when Freddy Coppack elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Louis Young made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ward Walls in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ossian AFC's goalkeeper Douglass Meyer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Southaven AFC's Tommie Atkins got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match Cody Starnes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Louis Young showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tommie Atkins kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Southaven AFC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Alistair Ramsey hit a great ball. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ossian AFC's goalkeeper Douglass Meyer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Louis Young showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ward Walls in the 91st minute of the match. Freddy Coppack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglass Meyer having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Southaven AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ossian AFC.
