Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luis McDonald took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Luis McDonald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minster's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis McDonald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brendan McNeil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute Earl Kim suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Cruz Eaton charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cruz Eaton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 9 played minutes Paxton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cruz Eaton. 12 minutes into the match, D.J. Landis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Shelton Dunham. Minster's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that D.J. Landis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Minster's Leonard Connor got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brendan McNeil made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Leonard Connor sent off a good shot on target. Shelton Dunham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Carter in the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Paxton AFC booed when Minster was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis McDonald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonard Connor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brendan McNeil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Boyce Sheldon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boyce Sheldon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wiley Gregg during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Leonard Connor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jim Carter was the one to do the kick off. During the 52nd minute of the match Luis McDonald completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Luis McDonald a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Luis McDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Brendan McNeil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boyce Sheldon went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Minster's Shelton Dunham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Carter in the 59th minute of play. With a little luck, Minster's Shelton Dunham got control of the ball when D.J. Landis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brendan McNeil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Mercer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Boyce Sheldon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Boyce Sheldon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brendan McNeil having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Boyce Sheldon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brendan McNeil. Paxton AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boyce Sheldon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After having played for 79 minutes, Boyce Sheldon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minster's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boyce Sheldon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shelton Dunham didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Paxton AFC's Jim Carter shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Brendan McNeil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javier Mercer's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Vince Cisneros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brendan McNeil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Brendan McNeil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boyce Sheldon's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Paxton AFC's goalkeeper Brendan McNeil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute, Boyce Sheldon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brendan McNeil was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Boyce Sheldon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that Minster were the better team. Minster's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
