Spectators: 7720 (Terracing: 5791, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Colin Wesley took the kick off in the first half of the match. Stuart Hutchinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Cherry in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, Morningstar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rashad Dietz to maneuver through the defense. When Wompa's Grady Schmitt in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Morningstar FC's goalie prevented a goal. Wompa's Stuart Hutchinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colin Wesley in the 16th minute of play. Colin Wesley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stuart Hutchinson having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wompa's goalkeeper Stuart Hutchinson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stuart Hutchinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Colin Wesley in the 24th minute of play. When Morningstar FC's Colin Wesley in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wompa's goalie prevented a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Wompa's Grady Schmitt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Levi Baxter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Levi Baxter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grady Schmitt in the 44th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

54 minutes into the game, Wompa's Grady Schmitt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Levi Baxter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 59 minutes into the match, Wompa's goalkeeper Stuart Hutchinson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Cherry. If Daniel Cherry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grady Schmitt in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Levi Baxter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 68th match minute, Morningstar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lanny Hutton to maneuver through the defense. When Grady Schmitt came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Wompa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grady Schmitt couldn't finish the play. Grady Schmitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frankie Burch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Levi Baxter having to interfere. Frankie Burch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Levi Baxter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stuart Hutchinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lanny Hutton in the 83rd minute of play. Grady Schmitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute Colin Wesley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stuart Hutchinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Wompa had won after a very even match.
