Frankie Burch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 5 minutes into the match, Tuckahoe's goal looked a bit too open when Frankie Burch came free, but Romeo Houser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tuckahoe's Marquis Platt in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wompa's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Marquis Platt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tuckahoe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marquis Platt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tuckahoe's Romeo Houser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grady Schmitt in the 23rd minute of play. Hector Becker charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Becker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tuckahoe's Marquis Platt got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Merlin Hebert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Houser having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Tuckahoe got a freekick which was hit by Damon Otto. Wompa's Sylvester Herndon couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tuckahoe. 44 minutes into the match, Tuckahoe's Alexis Gabriel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stuart Hutchinson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tuckahoe's Marquis Platt got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grady Schmitt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeo Houser read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Grady Schmitt to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Tuckahoe's Paul Flint got a free kick in the 51st minute. Grady Schmitt scored 0-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romeo Houser, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 55 minutes, Frankie Burch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wompa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frankie Burch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grady Schmitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frankie Burch got free with Romeo Houser in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 71 played minutes Tuckahoe got a freekick which was hit by Weldon Vasquez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grady Schmitt in the 72nd minute of play forced Tuckahoe's goalkeeper Romeo Houser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alexis Gabriel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Grady Schmitt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wompa's supporters rose to their feet, but Grady Schmitt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Houser breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87thth minute of the game Weldon Vasquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wompa's Stuart Hutchinson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexis Gabriel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stuart Hutchinson having to interfere. The Tuckahoe supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Wompa's performance. The match ended with a win for Wompa.
