Glen Duarte hit a great ball. Jay Burkett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joe Moore went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Jay Burkett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Glenn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes STL City FC got a freekick which was hit by Vern Chester. Jay Burkett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayden Hickman in the 31st minute of the match. STL City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Glen Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andre Kimbrough breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andre Kimbrough made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ty Taylor sent off a good shot on target. Andre Kimbrough came out of the goal and Glen Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen Duarte in the 73rd minute of play forced Fallbrook AFC's goalkeeper Andre Kimbrough to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Glen Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andre Kimbrough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Alvaro in the 82nd minute of play. Glen Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Kimbrough having to interfere.
