Freddie Chapman ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clay Weir in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jay Burkett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Damian Feliciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clay Weir in the 21st minute of play forced STL City FC's goalkeeper Jay Burkett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to CROW RAVEN getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dana Osborn hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Glen Duarte got free with Scot Stephenson in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hal Travis during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clay Weir hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Sorenson charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reynaldo Sorenson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes STL City FC got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Sorenson. 68 minutes into the match, CROW RAVEN's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Alvaro came free, but Scot Stephenson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
