The supporters of Pottsgrove booed when Sanatoga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Gonzales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dan Akers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Rufus Spicer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donald Shipman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 18 minutes, Donald Shipman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sanatoga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donald Shipman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kent Horner's late challenge caught a Sanatoga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kent Horner helped the player get up and apologised. Kent Horner hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Dan Akers kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Pottsgrove booed when Sanatoga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Richard didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Pottsgrove's Warner Flint broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Erik Barrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jefferson Kaufman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Winston Dunn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Winston Dunn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Kaufman having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Erik Barrera got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Sanatoga FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Armando Richard hit a great ball. Erik Barrera succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 46th playminute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Akers to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Sanatoga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Barrera came free, but Jefferson Kaufman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Armando Richard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Winston Dunn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jefferson Kaufman. Sanatoga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Winston Dunn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 59th minute, Winston Dunn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pottsgrove fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Donald Shipman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Akers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rufus Spicer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. If Winston Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pottsgrove's Erik Barrera in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sanatoga FC's goalie prevented a goal. Warner Flint charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Warner Flint the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pottsgrove getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Warner Flint hit a great ball. Vernon Campos, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pottsgrove had won after a very even match.
