The attack was good, but when Nathanial Stallings in the 30th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of Hawaii Suns booed when Fallbrook AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Moore didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dustin McIntyre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Teodoro Glenn came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Fallbrook AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Glenn couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nathanial Stallings made a kick off. Andre Kimbrough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dustin McIntyre in the 55th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Hawaii Suns's Dustin McIntyre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andre Kimbrough made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Dustin McIntyre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Kimbrough having to interfere. The referee showed Mike Mobley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 99th match minute, Hawaii Suns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mike Mobley to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Derick Lyles from long distance, 100 minutes into the match, got Denny Salas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hawaii Suns had played much better football throughout.
