Spectators: 7792 (Terracing: 5845, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chris Page kicked off to start the match. After 6 minutes, Doug Kessler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alachua and the Sinton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Doug Kessler hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lanny Gibbons in the 9th minute of play forced Alachua's goalkeeper Darell Ingram to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milan Clement scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vincent Butler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Milan Clement blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vincent Butler having to make a save. In the 25th minute Milan Clement shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Butler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Andre Ferrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 minutes, Edmund McQueen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alachua and the Sinton players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sinton getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Tomas Cuevas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milan Clement in the 38th minute of play forced Sinton's goalkeeper Vincent Butler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chris Page's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincent Butler read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Milan Clement recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sinton's zone, Milan Clement stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincent Butler came out of the goal and Milan Clement tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Sinton getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jess Wooten hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Lanny Gibbons made the kick off in the second half. If Milan Clement had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Alachua's Vincent Butler threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chris Page, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 68 minutes of play, Alachua's Milan Clement made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vincent Butler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Milan Clement received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Vincent Butler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Chris Page managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alachua's supporters rose to their feet, but Chris Page was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincent Butler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Milan Clement had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Chris Page sped through Sinton's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vincent Butler. Vincent Butler was a little too slow when Chris Page got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-4. Chris Page could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Vincent Butler made a huge save. Vincent Butler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Page, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alachua's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
