The crowd rose to their feet as Sanford Kohler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Denny Salas. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. When Sanford Kohler came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the ☆☆☆ MuLtiPle ScorgasMZ☆☆☆ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sanford Kohler couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, ☆☆☆ MuLtiPle ScorgasMZ☆☆☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Dustin McIntyre came free, but Vilho Korpisalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bruce Lee fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ☆☆☆ MuLtiPle ScorgasMZ☆☆☆'s protests and gave Bruce Lee a yellow card for diving instead. Glenn Hysén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denny Salas having to interfere. There was no doubt that ☆☆☆ MuLtiPle ScorgasMZ☆☆☆ were the better team. ☆☆☆ MuLtiPle ScorgasMZ☆☆☆'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
